I find Izzie in her room with wet looking hair that is "sparkling". I ask her what has she done and she responds, so proudly, by telling me that she has washed her hair. I go into the bathroom and it is all dry in the sink and tub. I go to her room again and ask her where did she wash her hair. She tells me that she washed it in her bed.
Ok, now is the time I start to get worried and wonder what has she ruined today. I go to her bed and smeared all over it, the night stand and the wall is pale pink gooey stuff. There is this faint minty smell in her room too. I ask her what is this and she said that it was her shampoo.
As I inspect her sparkling head I figure out what she shampooed her hair with. My favorite liquid pink lip gloss that has a hint of sparkle in it. In mint flavor, of course.
I get her in the bath and wash her hair with REAL shampoo twice and it still has a greasy feel to it. But on the bright side she still smells like mint and her hair is really pretty as the sunlight reflects off of the sparkly shampoo she used.

My Morning Song
I was awaken this morning by a beautiful song sung by a three year old......I am going to call it "Izzie and Layla Forever and Ever" .... because that is the only part of the song I could understand.
She was belting it out with all her little heart. AND as she is doing this she is hugging and petting Layla (our dog). Of course, Layla is just laying in the bed taking all the lovin' she can get.
I have to tell you, this was MUCH better that an alarm clock waking me up.

My first blog.....
My friends have always told me that they look forward to the stories of my daughter, Izzie. With Izzie you never know what she will do. Let's get you caught up on her. She is a fiesty 3 year old with a mind of her own and will tell you so. Her best friend is our weenie dog, Layla. They have been best buddies since the day I brought Izzie home from the hospital. Sometimes she acts like a dog and sometimes the dog thinks she is human. No matter who or what Izzie thinks she is, she is special and I hope you will enjoy the Izzie Tales.
